Well it's officially freezing and I'm in denial that it's going to be like this for a few months now. Looking cute when your nose is dripping and you can't feel your toes isn’t always easy. I tend to turn to my 2 favorite things, leather and fur. I love when I find a great pair of leggings because I know I'll be wearing them at least once a week. I love how these are only leather in the front so they fit perfectly. I know most people don't have a casual $800 to spend on genuine leather leggings but some cheaper ones definitely look better than others. Thanks for stopping by!

If you haven’t noticed by now I try very hard not to wear black every day in the winter. I know this can be difficult if you live in NY and get seasonal depression but I truly believe that what you put on in the morning has an effect on your attitude for the day. So try to throw on some colored pieces before resorting to those same black pants again. Every time I wear this coat I get a ton of compliments and girls are always shocked that it’s from Zara. It has a trendy Isabel Marant feel…or so I like to think. If you’ve ever heard of Vince apparel I would definitely recommend checking out their line of shoes. They have a way of creating simple shoes that are still very special. Thanks for reading!

I’ve been obsessed with fuzzy sweaters lately, so when I came across a fuzzy skirt I had to have it.  Thankfully this one wasn’t too pricey. I wanted to keep this outfit simple and let the accessories do the talking. I already expressed my love for these amazing boots in one of my previous posts here. I also threw on these gorgeous ear cuffs. I actually purchased these about 2 years back and never really wore them much. I’m still seeing ear cuffs everywhere so it looks like they are here to stay! I’m on the hunt for a pair that is a little more casual- to wear every day. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and thanks for stopping by :)

Head to toe grey is a super easy trend to try. The best part about it- you don’t necessarily have to buy anything new. Pair any of your favorite light and dark pieces together for an instantly chic outfit. I recommend adding a scarf or coat to break up the contrast of your top and bottom. Even add some chunky grey socks like I did here for a cozy winter feel.

The most worn item in my closet right now = these French Connection booties.  I love how they’re dressy but on a low heel so I can wear them all day without getting cranky from being uncomfortable. Another pro- they’re perfectly minimal without being boring. No hardware allows them to easily go with both silver or gold accented outfits.  I usually don’t consider myself a maxi skirt type of girl but this solid grey one fit right into my wardrobe. I wanted to pair this skirt with something loose fitting on the top which is where a crop top comes in handy. A longer top with this skirt would make any girl look boxy. Make sure to always be aware of your proportions, a long maxi skirt and short top create a lengthening look.

I’ve had this poncho for about 2 years now and it’s probably one of the most versatile pieces I own. It can be worn all year-round because of how light weight it is. I’ve worn it as a poncho, scarf, and even over a bathing suit as a cover up. Unfortunately I won’t be wearing it to a pool anytime soon. The NYC cold weather has only just begun!  In this post I’m wearing it as a poncho with a jumpsuit underneath for a clean look. I love just about anything from Missoni; they always mix the most beautiful colors together in their iconic zig zag stripes.
